Default Tiers

 The Default Tiers are available to all BitMEX users who complete the KYC process. These commission rates range between 0-20%, which you can qualify for based on referred volume, market share or active users

Pro Tier

Pro Tier comprises the highest commissions for BitMEX Affiliates. Users must first complete the affiliates form before they are eligible. Upon completion, you become eligible for commission between 0-60%, which you can qualify for based on referred volume, market share or active users

Current Tier

This is the active commission tier which corresponds to the rate you’ll receive for payouts. It is based on the Affiliate KPIs and users gain eligibility based on their best KPI metric.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

 These are the ways in which you can qualify for higher commission tiers.

Total Sign Ups

 Total amount of users that have registered with your link. Includes both verified and unverified users. 

First Trades

 Referred users who have passed KYC and placed a minimum of one trade on the platform

First Deposits

Referred users who have passed verification and initiated a deposit. This number will only update once the account has received funds in their BitMEX wallet. Pending deposits, which are stuck on the blockchain or otherwise unconfirmed, will not be counted toward your first deposit. 

Monthly Active Trader

A user is considered a Monthly Active Trader if said user has placed a minimum of one trade within the last 30 days. This includes any realised PnL in the time period, including Derivatives, Spot, and Convert 

Market Share

 Is the total volume of your referees as a percentage of total exchange volume within the last 30 days

Average Daily Volume (ADV)

 Takes into account both maker and taker average derivative volumes placed on the platform within the last 30 day period. ADV is updated at 00:00 UTC

Access to trading or holding positions on BitMEX is prohibited for any person or entity that is located, incorporated or otherwise established in, or a citizen or a resident of: (i) the United States of America, Québec (Canada), the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Seychelles, Bermuda, Cuba, Crimea and Sevastopol, Iran, Syria, North Korea or Sudan; (ii) any state, country or other jurisdiction that is embargoed by the United States of America; or (iii) any other jurisdiction where the services offered by BitMEX are restricted (collectively “Restricted Jurisdictions”). If it is determined that any BitMEX user has given false representations as to their location, incorporation, establishment, citizenship or residence, or HDR detects a user is from a Restricted Jurisdiction as described above, HDR reserves the right to immediately close their accounts and liquidate any open positions. HDR may, in its sole discretion, implement controls to restrict access to the BitMEX trading platform in any of the Restricted Jurisdictions.
