Where Can I Find the BitMEX Contract List?

The full list of all available contracts on BitMEX is at bitmex.com/app/contractList. This page displays every active perpetual contract, futures contract, and their key specifications including leverage, margin requirements, expiry dates, and settlement currency. 

The Contract List is organised into sections by contract type:

  • Perpetual Contracts – All active perpetual swaps, including inverse perpetuals, linear perpetuals, and quanto perpetuals.
  • Futures Contracts – All active quarterly futures, including inverse futures, linear futures, and quanto futures. Each entry shows the expiry date and settlement timestamp.

For each contract, the page displays:

  • Contract symbol (e.g., XBTUSD, XBTUSDT, ETHUSD)
  • Underlying index used for pricing and settlement
  • Leverage maximum available
  • Maker and Taker fees
  • Margin currency (XBT or USDT)
  • Contract size and multiplier
  • Expiry date (for futures contracts)
  • Funding interval

Traders can also access individual contract specification pages by clicking on any contract symbol for full details including tick size, lot size, settlement formula, and risk limits.

If it is determined that any BitMEX user has given false representations as to their location, incorporation, establishment, citizenship or residence, or HDR detects a user is from a Restricted Jurisdiction as described above, HDR reserves the right to immediately close their accounts and liquidate any open positions. HDR may, in its sole discretion, implement controls to restrict access to the BitMEX trading platform in any of the Restricted Jurisdictions.
