How to Become a Copy Leader on BitMEX

As an experienced trader, you can become a BitMEX Copy Leader to amplify your profits and build your reputation as others follow your winning trades.

Step-by-Step Guide to Becoming a Copy Leader:

  1. Create Your Profile:
    • Navigate to the ‘Copy Leader’ button at the top of the Copy Trading Marketplace here.
    • Click ‘Create New Copy Leader Account’ (Note: you can set up multiple profiles).

  1. Fill in Profile Details:
    • Input your desired name, description, and avatar.
    • Specify the trading balance to commit to your Copy Leader account.
    • Set the minimum balance required for Copiers to follow.
    • Determine your profit sharing percentage (1% to 50%).
    • Add your social media links.

*Note: After inputting your copy trading balance, the funds will be automatically transferred into your dedicated Copy Trading Sub Account. You do not need to manually transfer funds from your main BitMEX account.

  1. Finalise Creation:
    • Review settings and click ‘Start Copy Leading’.
    • Your profile will be created, and you’ll be redirected to your Copy Leader List page.

  1. Start Trading in Your Copy Leader Account:
    • Click ‘Trade’ on the Copy Leader interface to redirect you to your trading terminal or select your Copy Leader account from the Sub Account menu.
    • Trades executed in this specific account will be copied by followers; trades in other accounts will not.

Important Notes for Copy Leaders:

  • Minimum Deposit: $100 to start in USDT, BTC, or BMEX. Please note that the minimum deposit of Copy Traders must not exceed the Copy Leader’s starting deposit.
  • Profit Calculation: You earn a profit share only if your Copiers make actual profits from your copied trades. Read more about profit sharing here.

Max Copiers: Currently limited to 50 Copiers per Copy Leader (may be adjusted in the future).
