How Do I Enable Hedge Mode?

On web, open Preference Settings (gear icon), find the Trading section, and tick the Hedge Mode box. On mobile, tap the Features icon (three dots), select “Position Mode”, and choose Hedge Mode. You must close all existing positions and cancel active orders before switching. Multi-asset margining must be enabled before switching over to hedge mode. 

 

How do I enable Hedge Mode on web?

  1. Navigate to the Preference Settings (gear icon) located on the top-right corner of the trading interface.
  2. Look under the Trading section on the left column.
  3. Tick the Hedge Mode box to enable it. Unticking the box will transition the Position Mode back to One-Way Mode.

You must close all existing positions and cancel active orders before transitioning.

 

How do I enable Hedge Mode on mobile?

  1. Navigate to the Features settings (three-dot icon) located on the top-right corner of the trading interface.
  2. Select “Position Mode” in the menu.
  3. Tap the Hedge Mode option to change the Position Mode. You can switch back to One-Way Mode at any time using the same menu.

You must close all existing positions and cancel active orders before transitioning.

Alternatively, head to Account > Preferences > Position Mode to enable Hedge Mode.
