Who Can Trade TradFi Perps?

All existing and verified BitMEX users can trade TradFi Perps, except customers based in Singapore. No additional sign-up or approval is required beyond standard BitMEX account verification. Once verified, eligible traders can access equity perpetual contracts directly from the BitMEX trading interface.

What does “verified” mean?

A verified BitMEX account is one that has completed the platform’s Know Your Customer (KYC) process. This includes identity verification and sometimes may require your proof of address. BitMEX requires all users to complete KYC before trading any products on the platform.

How do I start trading TradFi Perps on BitMEX?

Eligible traders can begin in three steps:

  1. Create a BitMEX account: Sign up at bitmex.com if you do not already have an account.
  2. Complete KYC verification: Submit identity documents and you may get asked to provide a proof of address. Verification is typically processed within minutes.
  3. Fund your account: Deposit USDT (or other supported currencies if using Multi Asset Margining) and navigate to the TradFi section on the trading interface.

HDR may, in its sole discretion, implement controls to restrict access to the BitMEX trading platform in any of the Restricted Jurisdictions.
