Whether you can cancel depends on the withdrawal status shown on your Transaction History page. Pending and Confirmed withdrawals can be cancelled via email links. Processing withdrawals require contacting support. Completed withdrawals cannot be cancelled as they have been broadcasted to the network.
How do I cancel a withdrawal based on its status?
Check the withdrawal status on the Transaction History page, then take the appropriate action:
Withdrawal Status: Pending Action to Cancel: Click View Withdrawal in the verification email. On the withdrawal review page, choose not to confirm the withdrawal. Because the transaction has not yet been verified, no funds have moved and the withdrawal will not proceed.
Withdrawal Status: Confirmed Action to Cancel: Click cancel this withdrawal in the confirmation email. Because BitMEX has not yet begun processing, the withdrawal can still be reversed at this stage.
Withdrawal Status: Processing Action to Cancel: Contact Support for possible cancellation. At this stage, BitMEX is preparing the transaction for broadcast, so cancellation is not guaranteed. The support team will advise whether the withdrawal can still be stopped.
Withdrawal Status: Completed Cannot be cancelled. The transaction has already been broadcasted to the blockchain network. Once a transaction is on-chain, neither BitMEX nor any other party can reverse it.
