How Do I Place Trades Through TradingView?

Connect your BitMEX account to TradingView, select BitMEX as the exchange in the top-left search bar, choose a product, pick your order type and size, then click Buy or Sell. Your trade is placed on BitMEX and can be monitored directly on the TradingView chart. 

Placing trades on BitMEX through TradingView requires a connected BitMEX account. If you have not yet linked your account, complete the setup process described in the How Do I Connect My BitMEX Account to TradingView? guide before proceeding. Once connected, follow these four steps to place a trade.

  1. Connect your account – link your BitMEX account to TradingView 
  2. Select the product – in the top-left search bar, select BitMEX as the exchange and choose the product you want to trade.
  3. Configure the order – choose your order type (market, limit, etc.), set the size, and adjust any other parameters.
  4. Execute – click Buy or Sell to place the order.

Once the trade is placed on BitMEX, you can monitor the order status directly on the TradingView chart. Open orders appear as horizontal lines on the price chart, and filled positions are reflected in the Trading Panel with real-time profit-and-loss calculations. You can modify or cancel open orders by clicking the order line on the chart or using the controls in the Trading Panel, without needing to switch to the BitMEX platform.

HDR may, in its sole discretion, implement controls to restrict access to the BitMEX trading platform in any of the Restricted Jurisdictions.
