No. You do not need to manually transfer funds. When you choose a Copy Leader and specify a funding amount, BitMEX automatically moves your funds into your dedicated Copy Trading account. There is no need to navigate to a separate transfer page or initiate a wallet-to-wallet transaction. The minimum amount per Copy Leader is 100 USDT.

What happens to my funds when I stop copying?

Once you cancel copying a Copy Leader and all open positions are closed, the funds in your Copy Trading account are automatically returned to your main BitMEX account. This return happens regardless of which account you initially used to fund the copy.

You do not need to request a withdrawal or manually move funds back. The system handles the return in full once no open positions remain.

Which account do the funds come from?

Your funds are drawn from your main BitMEX account when you begin copying. The minimum amount per Copy Leader is 100 USDT. Ensure your main account holds sufficient balance before you start.

If you copy multiple leaders, each one draws from your main account separately. Funds allocated to one leader are independent of funds allocated to another.

HDR may, in its sole discretion, implement controls to restrict access to the BitMEX trading platform in any of the Restricted Jurisdictions.
