How does Hyperliquid Copy Trading work?

The system continuously monitors a curated set of well-known influencers and top-ranked traders trading actively on Hyperliquid. Traders are selected based on a combination of performance metrics, including profitability, consistency, risk management, trading volume, and active engagement within the social trading community.

 

Portfolio Synchronisation

The copy trading engine periodically synchronises user positions with the portfolios of selected traders. When a tracked trader opens, closes, or adjusts a position on Hyperliquid, the system mirrors equivalent actions proportionally for BitMEX users. Synchronization occurs at predefined intervals to maintain alignment while minimizing execution risk and slippage.

Position data from Hyperliquid is aggregated, validated, and normalised before execution. The system maps Hyperliquid positions to corresponding BitMEX-supported instruments and adjusts trade sizes based on the user’s available balance and predefined Copy Trading settings.

If it is determined that any BitMEX user has given false representations as to their location, incorporation, establishment, citizenship or residence, or HDR detects a user is from a Restricted Jurisdiction as described above, HDR reserves the right to immediately close their accounts and liquidate any open positions. HDR may, in its sole discretion, implement controls to restrict access to the BitMEX trading platform in any of the Restricted Jurisdictions.
