BitMEX tracks a curated list of the top 50 traders on Hyperliquid, known as Hyperliquid Leaders, which are regularly reviewed. These traders are identified by their Hyperliquid wallet addresses and are displayed in the Copy Trading Marketplace. You can filter and evaluate them by metrics such as 30-day ROI, win rate, maximum drawdown, total copiers, and risk level.
How Does BitMEX Select Which Hyperliquid Traders to Track?
BitMEX monitors on-chain trading activity on Hyperliquid and surfaces traders who demonstrate consistent performance. Hyperliquid Leaders are identified by their public Hyperliquid wallet addresses. Their trading history is fully verifiable on-chain.
The Copy Trading Marketplace displays each Hyperliquid Leader with a profile card showing key performance data. Metrics include 30-day ROI (return on investment), win rate (percentage of profitable trades), maximum drawdown (worst losing streak), total copiers, risk level (low, medium, or high), and trading badges.
You can sort and filter Hyperliquid Leaders by Cumulative PnL, Account Assets, Copiers, Cumulative Earnings of Copiers, and 30D ROI. You can also search for a specific leader by name or address.
To access Hyperliquid Leaders specifically, navigate to the Copy Trading Marketplace and select the Hyperliquid filter. This separates Hyperliquid Leaders from BitMEX Copy Leaders, who trade directly on BitMEX.
What Should You Look for When Choosing a Hyperliquid Leader?
Evaluating a Hyperliquid Leader requires reviewing multiple performance metrics rather than relying on a single figure such as ROI. Strong indicators include a track record of 90+ days, monthly returns between 20-50%, maximum drawdown under 20%, a trade count of 50 or more, and a win rate between 60-75%.
Caution is warranted for traders with fewer than 90 days of history, extremely high ROI combined with high drawdown, low trade counts (small sample sizes), or no strategy description.
You can copy up to five Hyperliquid Leaders simultaneously. Diversifying across leaders with different strategies (such as scalping, swing trading, and arbitrage) reduces dependence on any single approach.
