As part of the exchange wind-down process, we have enabled temporary access for users in certain previously restricted regions to allow for the safe retrieval of assets.

Eligible Jurisdictions Now Open for Withdrawal
Users residing in the following previously restricted jurisdictions are now permitted to log in, complete identity verification (KYC), and withdraw their available balances:
- United States (US Persons)
- Canada
- Bermuda
- Hong Kong SAR
- Seychelles
- Myanmar
Action Required: Log in directly using your existing BitMEX account credentials, complete the mandatory KYC process if you have not already done so, and navigate to your Wallet to initiate a withdrawal.
Note: Access is strictly limited to account management and withdrawals. No new trading or deposits are permitted.
Nationality Exceptions (Manual Review Required)
If you are a national of a restricted country but legally reside in an eligible region, you may be able to withdraw your funds following a manual compliance review:
- Russian Nationals residing in the EU or Switzerland: You may withdraw provided you can supply valid proof of EU or Swiss residency (such as a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months).
- Iranian Nationals residing outside of Iran: You may be eligible to withdraw available funds on a case-by-case basis.
Action Required: Submit a ticket through our Support Form and add a brief explanation of your residency status to initiate the process. Our Compliance team will review your application and request the necessary documentation.
Fully Sanctioned Jurisdictions (No Access)
Restrictions remain fully in effect for users located in or ordinarily resident in comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions. These are strict legal obligations, and no withdrawals or account access are permitted for these regions.
These jurisdictions include, but are not limited to:
- Cuba
- Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK / North Korea)
- Iran (Residents)
- Occupied regions of Ukraine
